Ryan Day is a native of Westminster, Maryland, where he grew up in a Christian home. He served at Grace Baptist Church in Hazleton, PA from 1999-2019, first as Associate Pastor and then Senior Pastor. In 2020, Ryan became the new Lead Pastor at Wrightsdale Baptist Church. 

Pastor Day is a 1998 graduate of Baptist Bible College of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania (now Clarks Summit University), where he majored in Bible and Pastoral Studies. In 2005, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Baptist Bible Seminary with the Master of Ministry degree in theological studies. He is presently engaged in doctoral studies (D.Min) from Baptist Bible Seminary.

 

Ryan has a passionate heart for Jesus and a shepherd’s love for the local church. He is committed to expository preaching where the whole truth of God's Word is unpacked and applied to our everyday lives. 

From 2016-2019, Pastor Day was a monthly contributor for LifeZette, a news and commentary website founded by Fox News TV host, Laura Ingraham. His monthly articles addressed various topics related to Bible doctrine, marriage, faith, family, and Christian worldview.  His articles have also appeared at FoxNews.com, Baptist Resource Network, The Baptist Bulletin, and National Right to Life.

Since 2021, Pastor Day's messages have been produced in a weekly podcast called "The Increase", which is available at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Amazon Music.

 

When he's not ministering at the church, enjoying time with his family, or making plans for the next trip to Ocean City, Maryland, Ryan enjoys camping, bass fishing, and hunting for cool shirts and good books at the local Goodwill.  He also enjoys sports-talk radio, the Baltimore Ravens, and playing guitar in praise and worship settings.  He loves Lancaster County and is proud to call Wrightsdale home. 

 

Pastor Day is married to Heather and they have five handsome sons and one beautiful daughter.
